Organic farmer with significant experience in France and worldwide
Experience : 29 years
Gaël began his career by taking over the traditional family farm (breeding and cereals) in the Deux-Sèvres in Nouvelle Aquitaine in France.
He adapted its operating strategy to the new environmental, energy and economic challenges that farmers are or will face.
In this context, Gaël actively participated in the development of new agricultural policies and new farming systems in France and worlwide, particularly in Africa.
Gaël got involved with farmers and converted the ancestral farm into an organic farm (specialized polyculture-plant) before starting his farm as a test farm to develop a new method closely with the CNRS and INRA to enable energy and climate transition.
The methods developed on the family farm are replicable nationally and internationally. They were built around environmental, climatic and economic issues by integrating the necessary food production, the absolute need to maintain biodiversity and the obligation to create new tools for the production of wealth and energy.
